National Patient Safety Experts to Speak at Pulse CPSEA Symposium in March

WANTAGH, N.Y. - Feb. 5, 2026 - PRLog -- A strong lineup of prominent figures in the patient safety movement will speak at the upcoming Pulse Center for Patient Safety Education & Advocacy annual Symposium and training event, March 26-27, 2026 on Long Island. The meeting is themed "What Is a Patient Safety Advocate, and Why It Matters to You."

Nationally and internationally recognized speakers will include:

• Teri Frykenberg RN CCM BCPA, on "What You Need to Know Before Becoming a Professional Patient Advocate"
• Kristen Miller, DrPH, MSPH, MSL, CPPS, on "AI in Healthcare: What Patients and Advocates Should Know"
• L. Bradley Schwartz, Esq and Sofie Schwartz MBA on "Family Support After the Error", and
• Steve Goodstein RN, MS, CO-OP, BCPA, CPXP, on "Conflict Resolution Skills in Healthcare"

The practical, interactive training will cover topics such as critical communications, and "FILMS" — Falls, Infections, Literacy, Medication & Surgery, and attendees will earn a certificate of completion and listing on the Pulse CPSEA website.

Board-Certified Patient Advocates can also earn CE credits to maintain their accreditation.
