Suffolk, Tobler Construction to host construction-industry hiring event Feb. 11

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Feb. 5, 2026 - PRLog -- The Housing Authority of the City of Fort Myers is partnering with Suffolk and Tobler Construction, to host a construction-industry hiring event on Wednesday, Feb. 11, from 4 to 7 p.m., giving local job seekers the opportunity to meet employers in-person.

The job fair is designed for low-income residents who are interested in pursuing careers in the construction industry. Partners will be hiring for positions tied to current and future work on Dunbar Choice Neighborhood site, providing attendees with direct access to local job opportunities. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet employers directly, learn about open positions and career pathways in the trades and take the next step toward employment close to home.

Participating employers for this event include Suffolk, Tobler Construction, Crown Roofing & Waterproofing, Extreme Florida Roofing, JJB South, MTD Painting & Construction, EMI Construction, Southwest Construction Services and R.T. Moore Co. Suffolk is currently partnering with Tobler on the Legacy Point project in Fort Myers.
