| Union Budget 2026: A Visionary Budget Accelerating the National Resolve of "Prosperous VillagesBy Dr. Pankaj Shukla Chairman & CMD — Gramya | President — ASRE | Vice President — Karate Association of India
By: BBN I express my heartfelt gratitude to Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi for consistently demonstrating that India's true strength lies in its villages, women, and youth. His leadership continues to guide the nation toward self-reliance, inclusion, and empowerment. This budget is a reflection of that philosophy, where development is no longer city-centric but reaches the grassroots, and where policy aims to democratize opportunities. Women-led development stands out as one of the most transformative pillars of this budget. The continued focus on women's entrepreneurship, Self-Help Groups, and financial inclusion is not merely a social intervention but a powerful economic strategy. The announcement of Self-Help Entrepreneur (SHE) Marts is a progressive step that connects women not only to production but also to markets, branding, and enterprise growth. When a woman becomes economically empowered, the impact extends beyond the household to entire communities and future generations. Gramya's Mission Shakti has been working on the same philosophy by equipping women with skills, financial literacy, and market access so they can become confident entrepreneurs. India's youth represent its greatest demographic advantage. Skill development, innovation, and entrepreneurship must converge to transform rural youth into job creators rather than job seekers. With proper training, mentorship, and exposure, rural youth can compete globally. The budget's focus on youth empowerment strengthens the confidence that India's young population will be equipped for future opportunities. I once again extend my gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Government of India for placing villages, women, and youth at the center of development. "Prosperous Villages, Prosperous India" is not merely a vision but a shared national resolve of 1.4 billion Indians. When villages become self-reliant, women become entrepreneurs, youth become skilled, and sports culture grows stronger, India will stand as a global model of inclusive development. Gramya remains fully dedicated to nation-building through women empowerment, dairy development, rural entrepreneurship, digital governance, and sports promotion. https://www.asrebharat.org End
