As one designer reflects, "We found the central living space really, really challenging. It had beautiful ceiling details and stunning archways, but the clients needed multiple uses out of the space." With such strong architectural features already in place, the task was not to compete with them, but to elevate and reimagine how the room could function day to day.

In fact, this space became the final piece of the puzzle. "It was actually the final space we tackled, as we just couldn't work out the best use of the layout," she adds. Antique Indian arches played a transformative role, anchoring the room with history, craftsmanship, and quiet grandeur.
