Stu Starr Announces New Single "I'm A Star," Recorded Directly From Prison

TULSA, Okla. - Jan. 31, 2026 - PRLog -- Rising underground personality Stu Starr is set to release his debut single, "I'm A Star," a high‑energy dance track recorded entirely from inside state prison. Captured through monitored phone lines and transformed into a full studio production by producer Jeff Elder, the single marks the beginning of what many are already calling one of the most unconventional breakout stories in modern pop.

"I'm A Star" showcases Stu's signature bravado and larger‑than‑life persona, blending raw, unfiltered vocals from the prison yard with Elder's polished, club‑ready production. The result is a track that feels both chaotic and irresistible — a declaration of fame from a man determined to reach the world no matter the walls around him.

Early download access is available now through Elder's Bandcamp page at the link below, giving fans a first listen before the official rollout.

The single will be released worldwide on all major streaming services on February 14, 2026, alongside the release of Starr Love, a book featuring Stu Starr.

"They tried to lock me up, but they couldn't lock up my destiny. I've always known the world was waiting for me — now they finally get to hear what a real star sounds like."
- Stu Starr

"Working with Stu is unlike anything I've ever done. Rowdy sends me these raw, chaotic phone recordings of him from inside, and somehow there's always a spark in them. My job is just to shape that spark into something the world can dance to."
- Producer, Jeff Elder
