US&S Appoints Matthew Smith as the New Chief Operating Officer

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Jan. 30, 2026 - PRLog -- US&S, a Greenville-based facility solutions provider recognized for its commitment to quality and service, announces the appointment of Matthew Smith as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

With more than 20 years of leadership and operational management experience, Smith will lead initiatives to optimize resources, drive performance excellence, and support US&S's long-term growth. His role will focus on translating the company's strategic vision into execution while ensuring the delivery of high-quality facility services.

Before joining US&S, Smith served as a U.S. Army Combined Arms Aviator, holding multiple leadership positions culminating in battalion command. He later joined Cisco Systems as a Customer Success Executive, aligning IT capabilities with business objectives. He also supported the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command Chief of Communications (J6) as a lead operational planner, helping implement a multinational engagement strategy across Southeast Asia.

Smith holds an MBA, a Master of Arts from the U.S. Army School of Advanced Military Studies, and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees from Dickinson College. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Based in Greenville, South Carolina, Smith is focused on advancing operational excellence and supporting US&S's continued growth.
