RAD Wins Smart IoT Data Center Deal with Mexican Municipality

TEL AVIV, Israel - Jan. 27, 2026 - PRLog -- RAD, a global leader in network edge and IoT solutions, announced that the Municipality of El Marqués, in the State of Querétaro, Mexico, has selected its end-to-end Smart IoT solution to remotely monitor several municipal data centers that house critical servers and communications equipment.

The deployment will strengthen operational visibility, physical security, and environmental control across multiple, distributed facilities.

The municipality set out to implement a centralized system to continuously monitor access security, physical conditions, and environmental parameters at several unmanned or lightly staffed data centers. This included requirements for motion monitoring, access authorization, temperature, humidity, CO2 air quality, and water leak detection to prevent outages and protect sensitive municipal IT services.

Through its certified partner NEXTDATA, RAD is providing a complete solution that includes all required sensors, its SecFlow IoT gateway, and an intuitive IoT platform that delivers real-time dashboards, reports, and multi-level alerts. The system enables municipal staff to track conditions and events across all sites from a single screen, with event history and data logs that support rapid troubleshooting and long-term optimization.

RAD's user-friendly dashboard, straightforward installation, and comprehensive coverage of all required sensors were decisive factors in awarding the project to RAD.
