Riello UPS Revamps Single Phase Range With Launch Of SP2 & SD2

WREXHAM, Wales - Jan. 23, 2026 - PRLog -- Critical power protection specialist Riello UPS announces an upgrade to its range of single-phase solutions with the introduction of the Sentinel Pro2 (SP2) and Sentinel Dual2 (SD2).

The new and completely redesigned models replace the existing Sentinel Pro (SEP) and Sentinel Dual Low Power (SDH) ranges respectively, which have been hugely popular and best-selling performers since their launch in 2011.

The new SP2 and SD2 maintain the high levels of reliability and flexibility associated with the previous series, but they have both been boosted with several improvements. Both series now deliver unity output power factor (pf1), which results in higher operating efficiency of up to 93.7%, as well as new front panels that provide better ventilation.

Designed for protecting IT systems, networks, medical equipment, and sensitive industrial applications, the Sentinel Pro2 (SP2) comes in 5 different power ratings (700-1000-1500-2200-3000 VA) with extended runtime (ER) versions available in the 1000-2200-3000 models for applications that require several hours' battery autonomy.

The SP2's compact freestanding design and low noise levels make it ideal for installation environments where space is at a premium.

The critical power specialist has also replaced the SDH range with the 1-3 kVA Sentinel Dual2 (SD2). Available in 1000-1500-2200-3000 VA power ratings, the range delivers increased online UPS efficiency of up to 93.7%, cutting users' energy costs and emissions.

SD2 offers the flexibility of installation as either a freestanding tower or a 2U rackmounted version, making it suitable for a wide range of installation environments, including small data centres, IT networks, electro-medical, VoIP telephone systems, and emergency lighting.

As well as a completely redesigned front panel, the SD2 can also be easily configured by either a new Bluetooth-powered smartphone app or via computer.
