| Sharing The Magic of a Kind HeartTeaching children to be kind builds empathy, improves focus, and creates a happier learning environment
By: Mrs Kenig Our primary intervention groups at Walter Jacobson Elementary School are creating a "Kindness Project" that will continue throughout the year. As a Title I school that supports low income students, educators are especially aware that many of our children don't receive the nurturing at home that fosters the notion of kindness. Right now, the intervention groups are using outdated materials, and could really use some necessities to create the project. Your support can make a tangible, life-changing difference in teaching these children. By donating supplies such as white boards, markers, highlighters, pencils etc, the kids will have the opportunity and motivation to connect to their learning experience. Finding colorful stools that are fun to sit on and easier to use in the classroom will be a real treat, and a motivating force to help create a more stimulating atmosphere where they love to learn. Thank you in advance for your compassion and commitment to our community's children. Your support makes it possible for our kids to learn about the joy of a "kind heart".
