By: HERATIKS Set for release on February 6, 2026 via Nuhope Entertainment, the track reimagines the original vocals by Shanie (vocalist for Alex Party) into a modern peak-time banger. The release follows the duo's rapid ascent in the South West scene, recently detailed in an exclusive interview on Sedgemoor FM. The "Bass Tech" Evolution Building on Lizzie Curious's fresh 2026 edit, HERATIKS have injected their signature "Bass Tech" sound, fusing tech house grooves with bass house weight and garage swing. "It's not strictly heavy bass house, but it's got that tech influence... just heavier," Justin explains. The Curious Connection at Fatboy Slim's Weekender The project began at Fatboy Slim's All Back To Minehead weekender, where the duo were working as content creators for Lizzie Curious's label, Curious Energy. Producer Charlie Big spotted their work, discovered HERATIKS' debut "Drop Tha Spot", and commissioned the remix. "Charlie followed the rabbit hole down... and fired us an email saying, 'Take Drop Tha Spot and just absolutely send it!'" Justin revealed. Industry Pedigree Though formed in late 2024, the duo brings decades of experience. James Wiggans, a former touring musician with The Hoosiers, brings a live performance mindset, while Justin Krause honed his technical skills at University, with one of his influential lecturers being the late Andy Williams (K-Klass). The track was mastered by Oliver Portmento at Most Wanted Audio (Toolroom, Defected), ensuring it stands up on global club systems. Early Industry Reactions The remix has already garnered significant industry praise: "Really cool update of an original record." GHSTGHSTGHST (BBC Radio 1 Future Star) "This track shaped nights... Now it returns to carry it forward. Welcome to the sound of yesterday, redesigned for 2026." Manuel Alicante Further Support From
