Hailing from the mountainous interior of Alicante, producing wines that are thoughtful, precise, and quietly expressive — wines that reward attention.

A Mountainous Corner of Alicante

Quàntic Cellar is located in Gaianes, a small village tucked into the rugged interior of Alicante, at the foot of the Benicadell mountain. This is not the sun-soaked, coastal Mediterranean image many associate with the region. Instead, the vineyards stretch across elevated, mountainous landscapes shaped by Mariola, Sierra Aitana, La Serrella, Montcabrer, and the Serpis river valley.

These vineyards — spread across Agres, Alcosser de Planes, Beniarrés, and Cocentaina — capture the essence of the El Comtat region: altitude, wind, dramatic temperature shifts, and soils that naturally limit vigor. The result is grapes with fresh acidity, aromatic lift, and structural tension, rather than overripe fruit.
