As of January 10th 2026 this public notice is hereby issued to all citizens and parties in Greenland, (an autonomous territory which under the Self-Government Act of 2009 which recognizes Greenlanders as a people with the right to self-determination allowing for independence through a referendum and negotiations with Denmark,) that world famous entertainer BARON STORM has laid claim to Greenland under the "Doctrine of Discovery" initiated by Pope Nicholas  V in 1452.

This "Doctrine of Discovery" law was recently used and verified in the USA courts as late as 2005.

As part pf his claim BARON STORM has taken on the Royal Title of KING RICHARD RIGID the First.

To mitigate any issues with the current population of Greenland and Denmark the New King will arrange a payment of $5 million USD to each of the 57,000 legitimate residents of the Greenland making them the wealthiest per capita population in the world.

.

Once the residents have each received their $5 million USD compensation the New King will rename the country to "BEAVERLAND" and seek other parties who may be interested in purchasing the country for cash and other consideration. He invites President Trump to give him a call.

The Doctrine of Discovery was first articulated in 1452 by Pope Nicholas V as the Papal Bull "Dum Diversas" and in 1496 by King Henry VII of England as a patent granted to John Cabot, which authorized and justified the destruction, killing, and appropriating of the lands of indigenous peoples and nations. The Doctrine of Discovery was incorporated into U.S. law in the 19th century when the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in the case, Johnson vs McIntosh, 1823, stating that European nations had assumed dominion over the lands of America upon discovery and as a result Native Americans had lost their rights to complete sovereignty as independent nations and retained a mere right of occupancy in their lands. A U.S. Supreme Court case as recent as 2005, City of Sherrill v. Oneida Nation of Indians, utilized the Doctrine of Discovery as legal precedent for the final decision.

Notice of this claim has been sent to officials in Greenland and Denmark.
