CLAYMONT, Del. - Jan. 9, 2026 - PRLog -- An August 2025 survey conducted by Hint App among 5,846 users across the US, UK, AU, CA, and EU reveals a persistent emotional divide in modern relationships. The study found that women are significantly more likely to remain in emotionally harmful relationships, while men tend to exit more quickly when their autonomy feels threatened.

Nearly two-thirds of women (63%) reported staying six months or longer despite emotional neglect, dishonesty, or chronic miscommunication, compared to 38% of men.

Conversely, 57% of men said they ended relationships within three months due to controlling or jealous behavior, versus 29% of women. The findings suggest that while dating language and digital habits have evolved, emotional thresholds remain uneven.

Women were more likely to tolerate mixed signals to preserve harmony, while men withdrew faster when independence was constrained. These patterns were most pronounced among women aged 25–34 and men aged 30-39. Overall, the data highlights enduring emotional asymmetries shaping modern relationships.

Hint App is a symbolic emotional insight platform with over 1.2 million users, blending ancient interpretive practices with AI and NASA astronomical data to help individuals better understand emotional patterns and relationship dynamics.
