PinkPacker signs MoU with Drop Access to launch cold-chain data traceability pilot

SEOUL, South Korea - Dec. 23, 2025 - PRLog -- PinkPacker Inc., a global meat trade verification and data platform, announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Drop Access Ltd., a Kenya-based cold-chain technology company, to launch an IoT-enabled cold-chain monitoring and data-driven traceability pilot, and has begun executing the pilot centered on private-sector value chains in Kenya and across Africa.

This pilot will be carried out across a value chain involving KenMeat, a leading private-sector slaughtering and processing company in Kenya, and Butcher's Gourmet, a distribution company, covering the full pathway (slaughtering/processing → distribution → end customers such as hotels). The objective is to collect and record key environmental data—including temperature, humidity, GPS, and power status—through IoT, to prove quality and safety standards with data across transport and storage segments.

PinkPacker will lead the pilot design and stakeholder communications, and will analyze the collected cold-chain logs to produce a joint results summary and an impact report (e.g., food loss reduction and safety indicators). Drop Access, as the on-the-ground operating partner, will be responsible for installing and operating monitoring equipment, collecting, storing, and sharing data, and ensuring device uptime and data integrity.
