Local Artisan Creates Custom Resin Table for Caterpillar's New Camelback Office

The project began when Caterpillar's creative team approached Lumberlust Designs in September with an intriguing challenge: transform their AI-generated concept art into a fully realized, physical statement piece. The result is a precision-crafted table showcasing die-cast CAT® machinery immersed in a flawlessly clear deep-pour resin layer, capturing the dynamic feel of a jobsite frozen in time.

Creating the realistic terrain proved to be one of the most technically demanding stages. Ryan Walsh of Lumberlust Designs sculpted detailed ground features, including dug trenches and accurate track impressions, before staging the miniature excavator and tractor models exactly as they would appear in the field.
