African Civil Rights Advocate Exposes Alleged Financial Exploitation by John and Alysha Corder

come forward detailing a disturbing pattern of alleged financial manipulation, conflicting
allegations, and false reports made by Metuchen couple John and Alysha Corder. The

According to Lasisi, John and Alysha Corder approached her asking for financial
assistance, allegedly claiming they were in the middle of a divorce and needed funds to

the couple was struggling financially and that Alysha was not providing adequate support

However, records reveal that no divorce was ever filed — neither in 2022 nor 2025, despite

remained married and living separate lives only in appearance.

Complicating matters further, John admitted to having a mistress, and two of his children
were fathered outside of his marriage. Lasisi states that both John and Alysha sought
financial help related to both Alysha's children and the children from John's extramarital

The situation escalated when John and Alysha filed a series of inconsistent allegations
against Lasisi, including claims she threatened their children and vandalized property —
accusations Lasisi strongly denies. Body camera footage and statements obtained from

John alternately describing Lasisi as an ex-partner, ex-girlfriend, casual sexual contact, and "no relationship at all."

Alysha admitting she has never met Lasisi, does not know what she looks like, and learned
her identity only from online searches.

apparent attempts to categorize the situation as domestic violence.

Missing discovery materials, including alleged images, transcripts, and linked

Lasisi asserts these conflicting statements were used to build a false narrative against her

"I was targeted because I am an African woman in the United States, and because I was
vulnerable and trying to help their family. They weaponized the legal system when I stopped
giving money."
