The 10-day trip, titled Japan, Between the Lights, will take place from May 18 to 27, 2026, marking Japan as the first destination for Salt Caravan's newly launched brand dedicated to authentic, food-centered experiences across the globe.

From Tokyo's bustling markets to the serene tea fields of Uji, and from handmade soba in Tochigi to street eats in Osaka, the journey promises to reveal Japan's deep culinary heart: one bowl, one sip, one story at a time. Guests will share meals in local homes, meet chefs and farmers, and learn centuries-old techniques in small workshops, from sushi-making to shichimi spice blending and goshuin-style recipe journaling.
