Career Communications Group Appoints David Jones to Lead AI & Energy Workforce Development Subcomm

Jones, CEO of Lumena Energy and founder of the DAIODE platform, as Chair of the AI and Energy Workforce Development Subcommittee. This strategic appointment reflects CCG's expanded commitment to developing future-ready pathways in artificial intelligence, energy innovation, and community-centered workforce development.

David Jones brings to the role a proven record of innovation and leadership. Under his direction, DAIODE has emerged as one of the most groundbreaking initiatives in the AI infrastructure space, positioning itself to become the first Black-owned AI infrastructure platform in the United States. Jones previously served as Chairman of the STEM City USA Energy Task Force, where his collaborative leadership helped accelerate CCG's efforts to integrate energy technology, AI, and equitable digital access.

A Transformational Milestone for AI and Energy Workforce Development

Jones will guide the subcommittee as CCG advances its AI Workforce Pipeline, part of the organization's Workforce Training Division and STEM City USA's national digital learning ecosystem. The subcommittee will support program development across K–12, collegiate, and professional tracks, focusing on:

• AI literacy and metaverse-enabled workforce training
• Energy resilience and distributed digital infrastructure
• Community-based AI hubs and decentralized data systems
• Workforce preparation for emerging AI, quantum, and energy careers
• Public–private partnerships to scale innovation in underserved regions
