| Spiritual Glow Marks Opening of 323rd Urs-e-Qalandari at Khanqah Emadia Qalandariya, Patna CityBy: Khanquah Emadia A large number of devotees, scholars, and the general public participated in this sacred event. The Urs commenced after Fajr prayer with Qur'an recitation. Later, at 11 a.m., the Mehfil-e-Sama began, where renowned qawwals presented soulful Sufi poetry and zikr, creating a spiritually uplifting environment. The day's proceedings concluded at 1 p.m. with the ceremony of Qul Sharif, marking the formal beginning of the three-day Urs-e-Qalandari celebrations. In the evening session, a grand gathering titled "Jalsa-e-Azmat- The event was organized in a radiant and scholarly atmosphere, graced by the presence of esteemed scholars and guests. During the program, students of Markazi Darul Uloom Emadia delivered eloquent speeches in Arabic and English, displaying remarkable command, elegance, and scholarly insight. Their speeches focused on the importance of knowledge, practice, ethics, and service to religion in the light of the Qur'an and Hadith. Distinguished scholars including Maulana Syed Shah Mujeebul Haque Emadi (Wali-e-Ahad, Khanqah Emadia), Maulana Syed Shah Salman Chishti (Wali-e-Ahad, Khanqah Chishtia Maudoodia), and Maulana Muzammil Hussain Azhari delivered insightful and spiritually uplifting addresses. Thereafter, Hazrat Raeesul Mashaikh, Syed Shah Misbahul Haque Emadi, delivered the Dars (lesson) of the final Hadith of Sahih Bukhari Sharif in a deeply scholarly, rational, and faith-inspiring manner. Following this, the Dastar-e-Fazilat (graduation turban ceremony) was held, in which 27 graduates of Darul Uloom Emadia were honored by the hands of distinguished Ulama and Imams — including 8 Muftis, 8 Fazils, 5 Qaris, and 6 Huffaz. During the ceremony, Naat reciters Shakir Raza Noori, Sibtain Raza Azimabadi, and Saqlein Raza (Patna) presented heartfelt tributes in praise of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, further enriching the spiritual atmosphere of the gathering. The program concluded with a special prayer (dua) by Hazrat Raeesul Mashaikh, who prayed for the prosperity of the Muslim Ummah, the progress of the nation, and the continued growth and success of Markazi Darul Uloom Emadia. The Urs celebrations will continue for three days — On November 13, the Chadarposhi and Qul Sharif ceremony will take place at the blessed shrine of the saint in Phulwari Sharif, while on November 14 (Friday), the Urs will conclude with a special Qul and Sama gathering after Fajr prayer, followed by a Mehfil-e-Sama at 11 a.m. and the final Qul Sharif at 1 p.m. For more details https://www.khanquahemadia.org End
