Amazon Deactivated My Business Without Evidence-- Court MisrepresentationBy: BENJAMIN LIGERI LOS ANGELES - Nov. 17, 2025 - PRLog -- After 13 years of spotless account health and over $250M in cumulative sales, Amazon deactivated Ben Ligeri's company, Central Concepts, Inc., claiming it was "related" to another seller account (Arizona Corp.)—without providing any evidence. Their own internal document (AMZN000228)
Ligeri submitted extensive documentation disproving the claim. Their system kept auto-rejecting appeals with bot-generated responses like "we do not have enough information," So Ligeri filed suit in Connecticut. Amazon responded with a declaration from a litigation paralegal falsely stating he opened four seller accounts. He didn't. Each account had a traceable origin—purchased businesses, not new accounts. No registration records link me to those accounts. Yet Amazon used this false affidavit to push the case into arbitration. After transferring the case to Seattle, Amazon consolidated multiple actions Ligeri filed (including trademark infringement and RICO claims) and got reassigned to a judge with a history of favoring arbitration. The court compelled arbitration without a hearing, never addressing whether he had actually agreed to arbitrate. Then came the listing removals. During Halloween 2025, Amazon removed top-selling products like Green Sky Spiderweb—without Ligeri's request or authorization. They told wholesalers he initiated the takedowns. He didn't. He tried to retract them through Brand Registry and the Retraction Portal. No success. He even emailed Amazon's attorneys directly. No response. The listings stayed down, hurting his distributors and reputation. Amazon later argued in court that Ligeri's efforts to restore listings contradicted his lawsuit. That's false. Legeri was asking for brand correction, not removal. Their misrepresentation is verifiable in the pleadings. To top it off, Amazon's Rule 30(b)(6) designee testified that account "relatedness" This entire process has been a masterclass in procedural abuse: false affidavits, suppression of evidence, automated rejections, and reputational damage. I've documented everything. Supporting documents available. If you've faced similar issues with Amazon or arbitration abuse, I'd love to hear your experience. This isn't just about one seller—it's about accountability End
