Multiples of America Builds Personal Connections in a World Filled with Artificial Intelligence

FRANKLIN, Tenn. - Nov. 1, 2025 - PRLog -- "In an age when technology has replaced human interaction, when texts have replaced friendly conversations, when tweets have replaced human storytelling, when AI has replaced human jobs and livelihood, I crave personal authenticity," explains Sara Barr, mother of twins.

The good news for Sara and all parents of twins, triplets, and more: Multiples of America, and its base of local chapters, offers numerous opportunities for in-person interactions. Meal trains, monthly check-in meetings, family play dates, mom support groups, and an annual convention gathering are a few examples.

"Mom's Nights Out are my favorite club activity," notes Sara. "There's no stress, no business agenda, just friends — old and new — getting together for a relaxed evening to swap stories, share a few laughs, and find support for whatever troubles that week has thrown our way."

Technology is not ignored; it's utilized by local chapters and Multiples of America as a means of enhancing personal connections. For example, nationally- based Zoom Connects and Great Expectations seminars (https://multiplesofamerica.org/greatexpectations/), an online speakers bureau, a Multiple Match program, and virtual book clubs led by local chapters.

Sara's favorite way to connect with other parents of multiples virtually is during the monthly Zoom Connects (https://multiplesofamerica.org/zoom-connects/). The online meetings are based around topics such as parenting multiples, family life, self-care and chapter management. Speakers are often national experts in the area of multiples. Dr. Nancy Segal, Dr. Joan Friedman, Margot Lewis, Dr. John Mascazine, and Kristen Eberly are a few presenters leading former and upcoming Zoom Connects. And beyond the information, Sara notes each gathering comes with an abundance of connection.

"You'll often find other moms logged in a few minutes early to share news about kids, grandkids, jobs and other life events," shares Sara. "When these joys and challenges are supported by others, it deepens the bonds of friendship, no matter how many miles bridge the friends."

So in a world fixated on AI, Multiples of America harkens back to a more personal touch, a chance to get support, information, and a friendship connection with another parent who has "been there, done that."

"Other parents of multiples get it in a way few others could," Sara says, "since raising multiples is such a unique parenting experience."
