By: Genaro Enterprises GP Tha Boss, aka Genaro Patterson, an entrepreneur, artist, writer, and community activist out of Sacramento, California, known for transforming pain into power and hustle into legacy. GP started his legacy journey early in 2005, signing with Death Row Records under Suge Knight, securing his place in West Coast hip-hop history. Within the same year, he founded his label Just On GP Records. He released several acclaimed underground projects, including Smashing in the Game, Finally, The Beast, and Best of GP The Beast, along with his independent street film Mackramento. After serving a total of 27 years in prison, GP emerged stronger than ever, as he excelled in studying business, writing over 60 books, and rebuilding his life from the ground up. Since his release home on March 27, 2023, GP has launched multiple successful ventures, including a dog grooming and boarding business, a rental car company with 17 vehicles, and this year, Genaro Enterprises, a concert production brand, now hosting major events like GANG GANG LA with many more to come. Along with GP's many avenues of success in business and the music industry, he is also the uncle of charting West Coast artist Mozzy. GP's influence runs deep in the community and throughout West Coast music. Today, he's more than an artist or CEO of a local business; he's a flourishing symbol of perseverance, resilience, and leadership. Raise a toast with GP Tha Boss and friends on November 8th at Club Lagos for a night of music, movement, and meaning, a celebration of real artistry and community.
