By: Gulf university In his opening speech, Professor Dr. Mohanad Al-Firas, President of Gulf University, affirmed that the university's hosting of the forum stems from its commitment to enhancing the role of parliamentary media as an effective tool for promoting transparency and accountability, while keeping pace with the rapid developments in the world of artificial intelligence. He added: "At Gulf University, we believe in the importance of keeping up with these transformations through education and scientific research, and by offering specialized programs that equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to face the challenges of the digital era." For her part, Dr. Rania Abdel Razek, Head of Corporate Communication, Public Relations, Media, and Entrepreneurship at the League of Arab States, and the General Coordinator of the forum, emphasized that the League of Arab States attaches great importance to media-related issues, especially parliamentary media. She noted that the forum serves as an important Arab platform for exchanging expertise and dialogue on how to leverage AI tools to support parliamentary work, praising the broad Arab participation that reflected the significance of this topic across the region.
