FraudLabs Pro Introduces Advanced Agent JavaScript to Strengthen Online Fraud Detection

Key Enhancements

The updated Advanced Agent JavaScript introduces several advanced detection capabilities to combat evolving online threats:

Headless Browsing Detection – Identifies and flags automated browsers often used in scripted attacks or fraudulent testing activities.

Location Mismatch Detection – Highlights discrepancies between a user's reported and actual locations, signaling potential fraud.

Inconsistent Device Detection – Examines multiple attributes to identify inconsistencies that may suggest the use of multiple identities or devices under a single user profile.

Virtual Machine Detection – Detects browsers running within virtualized environments which are commonly used by fraudsters.

Spoofing Detection – Recognizes tampering attempts involving device fingerprinting or network manipulation.

The new Advanced Agent JavaScript is available to merchants on the Medium plan or higher. To enable it, simply define up to five landing pages in the Agent JavaScript Settings, then copy and paste the provided script into those pages. Once enabled, the script automatically collects device and behavioral data during user interactions, allowing FraudLabs Pro to detect anomalies and improve fraud scoring accuracy.
