Colorado First Campaign Launches Mobile Food Banks Across All 64 Counties

DENVER - Oct. 29, 2025 - PRLog -- The Colorado First Campaign, led by Republican gubernatorial candidate Dr. Gregory A. Thomas, announced today a bold, statewide initiative to combat hunger by deploying mobile food banks in all 64 Colorado counties. The campaign has made the decision to pause nonessential campaign spending until the immediate needs of hungry families are met.

"Colorado First means people first," said Dr. Thomas. "While others are arguing over headlines and polls, our neighbors are wondering where their next meal will come from. We won't spend another dime campaigning when our families are hungry. That's not politics — that's principle."

The initiative will mobilize campaign staffers, volunteers, and local community partners to deliver fresh produce, shelf-stable goods, and essentials directly to families in need — particularly in rural and underserved communities where access to affordable food has become a growing crisis.

The Colorado First mobile food banks will operate on a rotating county schedule beginning November 15, 2025, ensuring every Coloradan — from Denver to Delta, from Pueblo to the plains — has access to healthy, reliable food assistance before the holiday season.
