Stevens Construction begins expansion for B&I Contractors

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Oct. 29, 2025 - PRLog -- Stevens Construction has started construction of a 94,440-square-foot expansion and renovation of B&I Contractors, a leading mechanical, electrical and plumbing specialty contractor, announced Mark Stevens, president, Stevens Construction, Inc.

Stevens Construction is providing construction management services for a new 12,000-square-foot metal building that will serve as office space, and a new 37,000-square-foot building that will have 5,775 square feet of office space and 31,225 square feet of manufacturing space.  Steven Construction is also expanding B&I's existing building by 41,440 square feet to serve as manufacturing space, as well as renovating a 4,000-square-foot mezzanine into office space.

The project accommodates B&I's continued growth and investment in the Southwest Florida community. Located at 2701 Prince St. in Fort Myers, the upgraded facilities will support B&I's ongoing commitment to innovation, training and operational excellence as the company continues to expand its statewide footprint.

The project team includes Project Manager Mike Alisea, Superintendents Jeff Brunderman and Yoendry Campos Martinez and Project Administrator Gina Varner. Studio AD is the architect of record and Quattrone & Associates is the civil engineer.
