FortifyIQ Secures the Quantum Era with Over-the-Air Updatable Cryptography

SALEM, Mass. - Oct. 28, 2025 - PRLog -- FortifyIQ, Inc., a provider of high-assurance hardware and software security solutions, announced the release of FortiPQC, its new post-quantum cryptographic suite designed for certifiable resistance to side-channel and fault-injection attacks (SCA/FIA). The suite includes soft macro hardware IP cores and software libraries for any deployment scenario. FortiPQC implements NIST PQC standards (ML-KEM/FIPS203 and ML-DSA/FIPS204) and supports applications from cloud to edge to chiplet-based architectures. Both hardware and software are OTA (over-the-air) updatable, adapting to emerging standards.

The arrival of mature quantum computing, projected within the next decade, threatens asymmetric cryptography (RSA, ECC) that secures critical systems in banking, defense, and energy. NIST standardized quantum-resistant algorithms ML-KEM and ML-DSA in August 2024, but these are computationally intensive and extremely vulnerable to side-channel and fault-injection attacks. FortifyIQ's patented hardware and software implementations deliver efficient, robust, and certifiable post-quantum security.
FortiPQC extends FortifyIQ's full portfolio of hardened cryptography, engineered to meet high-assurance certification targets, and configurable for optimal balance of protection, performance, area, and power efficiency.

High-Assurance, Field-Deployable Software
FortiPQC software libraries provide certifiable, algorithmic SCA/FIA protection with performance, latency, and power efficiency maintained, and minimal (~10%) code-size overhead compared to naive PQC software implementations. They provide certifiable protection for legacy or cost-constrained devices OTA, without hardware changes.

Efficient, Configurable Hardware
FortifyIQ's hardware crypto IP family delivers exceptional Power-Performance-Area (PPA) and resilience, validated up to 1 billion traces. Available standalone or as part of FortifyIQ's CryptoBoxes and Roots-of-Trust that combine traditional and post-quantum cryptography under a certifiable architecture.

"Post-quantum cryptography must not only be algorithmically strong but also attack-resistant," said Alexander Kesler, CEO of FortifyIQ. "With FortiPQC, manufacturers can deploy certifiable, efficient, and field-upgradable post-quantum resilience today, from chip to cloud."

FortiPQC, with FortifyIQ's AES, HMAC, and ECC/RSA, form a complete, modular, cross-platform high-assurance security foundation, agnostic to foundry, technology, and implementation, supporting cloud, edge, embedded, and mission-critical environments.

About FortifyIQ
FortifyIQ engineers certifiable cryptographic IP cores, software libraries, and roots-of-trust with traditional and post-quantum algorithms, hardened against side-channel and fault-injection attacks without compromising performance, area, or energy efficiency. Foundry- and platform-agnostic, our solutions integrate easily and securely across the spectrum.
Backed by granted and pending patents, deep cryptographic research, and formal and practical security proofs, FortifyIQ's IP is developed and validated using proprietary pre- and post-silicon EDA tools to ensure systematic evaluation of physical attack resilience, providing delivers advanced cryptography that is certifiable, reliable, and built to meet the challenges of high-assurance, real-world applications..
