The Game is Afoot! The New Jewish Theatre Presents Ken Ludwig's Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes

ST. LOUIS - Oct. 24, 2025 - PRLog -- et your deerstalker cap on – the play's afoot! This November, the New Jewish Theatre (NJT) invites audiences to an uproarious and suspense-filled adventure with Ken Ludwig's Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery, running November 20 through December 7, 2025.

From the comedic genius behind Lend Me a Tenor and Dear Jack, Dear Louise, playwright Ken Ludwig transforms Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic The Hound of the Baskervilles into a murderously funny romp through the moors of Devonshire. The male heirs of the Baskerville line are being dispatched one by one, and only Sherlock Holmes and his loyal companion Dr. Watson can crack the case before the family curse claims another victim.

Five nimble actors will bring more than 40 eccentric characters to life in this fast-paced, laugh-out-loud whodunit filled with disguises, accents, and high-energy theatrical magic. Expect chills, thrills, and a hearty dose of laughter as Holmes and Watson navigate a dizzying web of clues on their quest for the truth. Here is our amazing lineup:
