The Non-Rotation Protector (NRP), a drillstring torque and friction reduction device, is widely used in various well types to optimize energy delivery to the drill bit. It overcomes the many challenging conditions encountered during drilling operations, including torque, drag, casing and riser wear, and drill pipe wear. It improves performance by minimizing energy losses caused by wellbore friction.
