TAIPEI, Taiwan - Oct. 13, 2025 - PRLog -- Taiwan Showcases Tourism and MICE Excellence at ITB Asia 2025

The 2025 ITB Asia, Asia's leading annual travel industry event, will take place from October 15–17 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. The Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA) will once again lead the Taiwan Pavilion, themed "Waves of Wonder," highlighting Taiwan's diverse tourism and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions) offerings.

Seven industry partners will participate: Edison Travel Service, ILLUME TAIPEI, MyTaiwanTour, LION TRAVEL SERVICE CO., LTD, Leading Taiwan Travel Agency, Welcome Wonder Travel Service, and iMICE Integrated Marketing (Flying Tour). Representing travel agencies, hotels, and integrated MICE services, they showcase Taiwan's full spectrum of tourism and convention capabilities.

Strengthening Buyer-Exhibitor Engagement

To facilitate meaningful interactions with international buyers, TTA will host a group presentation through ITB Asia's official matchmaking platform. Attendees include travel agencies from Europe and Southeast Asia, multinational incentive travel and conference planners, international hotel and corporate event departments, and professional media.

The presentation will highlight Taiwan's key MICE advantages—well-equipped venues, convenient transportation, government subsidies for international conferences, and professional services—alongside tourism themes of "mountains, seas, and island adventures." This positions Taiwan as an ideal destination for conferences, incentive travel, and corporate events.

Interactive Pavilion Design Brings Brand to Life

The Taiwan Pavilion embodies the "Waves of Wonder" identity, with flowing wave motifs symbolizing the harmony of nature, culture, and technology. A highlight is a live sugar painting demonstration by a Taiwanese artisan, offering buyers a firsthand experience of Taiwan's cultural creativity and craftsmanship. This immersive engagement reinforces Taiwan's distinctive image as a tourism and MICE destination.

Strategic Marketing and Policy Support

TTA's "Tourism Brand – Attracting Millions of Visitors" strategy enhances Taiwan's global visibility through trade shows, digital campaigns, and the Brand 3.0 identity system. Tourism and Travel Information Centers (TTICs) in Indonesia, India, Europe, and North America further support local promotion and visitor services.

Following the success of ITB Asia 2024, which generated significant buyer attention and follow-up collaborations, this year's participation continues Taiwan's strategic efforts to expand its tourism and MICE footprint.

Expanding Taiwan's Global Presence

Through ITB Asia 2025, TTA aims to strengthen collaboration with international buyers, enhance Taiwan's position in global tourism and MICE markets, and encourage more travelers and companies to choose Taiwan as a premier destination.
