Tushar Sharma Appointed as National Chairman of Climate & People Welfare Council

DELHI, India - Oct. 13, 2025 - PRLog -- The Climate & People Welfare Council (CPWC), also known as Jalvayu Evam Jankalyan Parishad, has announced the appointment of Mr. Tushar Sharma as its National Chairman.

The Council is working to integrate climate consciousness with human welfare through sustainable development and community-driven initiatives across India. CPWC is also registered with NITI Aayog

Previously, Mr. Sharma served as Vice Chairman of the Module of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Promotion Council (India), where he advanced awareness and policy partnerships for environmental sustainability.

"Our approach is holistic — we create ecosystems, build sustainable communities, and bridge policy with practice to ensure prosperity for both rural and urban India," said Mr. Sharma.

Under his leadership, CPWC will expand national programs on climate adaptation, livelihoods, and youth engagement to build a sustainable future.
