Public Voting Opens for the 2025 Kiwi Business Heroes Awards

KAPITI, New Zealand - Oct. 6, 2025 - PRLog -- Kāpiti, New Zealand — Web Genius is proud to announce the commencement of public voting for the 2025 Kiwi Business Heroes Awards, celebrating the small and medium-sized businesses that form the backbone of New Zealand's economy.

The Kiwi Business Heroes Awards run annually and recognise the resilience, innovation, and community spirit of Kiwi business owners. Each year, the awards shine a light on the hardworking individuals and teams who go above and beyond for their customers and communities.

This year, 35 inspiring businesses from across the country have entered, representing industries ranging from construction and manufacturing to wellness, hospitality, and professional services.

"Every year, we're inspired by the stories of our clients — their determination, creativity, and community focus truly define what it means to be a Kiwi business hero," says Richard Calkin, Founder, Web Genius. "These awards are our way of celebrating their contributions and inviting the public to show their support."

Public voting opens on 13 October and runs until 31 October. The five businesses receiving the highest number of votes will advance to the final judging round, where a panel will assess their entries based on:

• Perseverance – how they've overcome challenges on their journey to success.
• Community value – the positive impact their products or services have had.
• Economic contribution – how they support the local economy through employment and sourcing locally.
• Giving back – their involvement in charitable, sponsorship, or community initiatives.

Entrants are competing for a top prize of a $2,000 Noel Leeming voucher or $4,000 worth of Web Genius products or services.
