At the heart of her journey was a question she had long asked in her professional life—why? "Finding my purpose became the anchor that kept me consistent," Jamil explains. Her approach to nutrition is deliberate: clean, home-cooked meals rich in protein, with balanced carbohydrates and healthy fats. Trans fats and processed foods were eliminated. "It's not about dieting—it's about fueling and healing," she says. Like her work in analytics and HR strategy, she brought structure to her meals by tracking calories to ensure neither excess nor deficiency.

Exercise became equally central. Her weekly plan combines yoga for flexibility and calm, strength training for resilience, and cardio for endurance. Added to this is the simple yet powerful habit of 20,000 steps a day, which she credits with improving stamina, cardiovascular health, and overall mood.

Yet, Jamil insists the transformation is about more than physical appearance. "Fitness builds mental clarity, emotional strength, and confidence," she notes. Regular activity and balanced nutrition, she believes, are as vital for leadership as they are for health.

Born in Uttarakhand and educated at IIM Lucknow, Arshi Jamil has held senior HR leadership roles while writing and mentoring entrepreneurs. She is also a vocal advocate for women's empowerment and education. Her personal wellness journey, she says, reinforces that mission by providing a practical example of self-leadership.
