East London School of Classical Music Launches Campaign to Expand Access for Young Musicians

LONDON, United Kingdom – Sept. 24, 2025

The East London School of Classical Music (ELSCM) has launched a crowdfunding campaign to expand its capacity and continue providing accessible classical music education to young people across East London and beyond.

Founded in 2015 to offer high-quality music training to children regardless of background or income, ELSCM marks its 10th anniversary with a call to action: help us grow to meet rising demand.

Over the past decade, the school has grown steadily—but now faces a critical shortage of space, a long waiting list, and outdated digital infrastructure. The campaign, "Help ELSCM Grow: More Places for Young Musicians," seeks to raise £25,000 initially, with a broader £50,000 goal.

Campaign Priorities:

• Expand teaching and rehearsal space – Add tuition rooms, instrument storage, and study areas.
• Rebrand and modern website – Transition from East London School of Music to ELSCM to improve accessibility and reach.
• Sustain bursaries – ELSCM has never turned away a student due to finances and aims to uphold that promise.
