Rev Dr Tanya Young Williams Ordained: A New Chapter in Spiritual Leadership

TRENTON, N.J. - Sept. 23, 2025 - PRLog -- On September 21, 2025, Tanya Young Williams, founder of Women, Wisdom & Wine Ministry, was ordained at the historic Shiloh Baptist Church in Trenton, New Jersey. The ordination ceremony was presided over by Rev. Dr. Darrell Armstrong, the esteemed pastor of the historic Shiloh Baptist Church.

The ceremony was a profound reflection of faith, with meaningful contributions from fellow clergy members Pastors Kaji Douša and Maureen Gerald. The spiritual reverence of the service was enhanced by Tanya's daughters, Tryumph and Whizdom Williams, who escorted her into the church and ceremoniously robed her.

A heartfelt video tribute from Rev. Dr. DeForest Soaries, a former mega-church pastor, and renowned author, celebrated Tanya's dedication to her calling. The musical selections were provided by recording artist Norwood Young, Tanya's brother.

Reflecting on her ordination, Rev. Dr. Tanya Young Williams stated, "The Lord called me many years ago to serve all humanity and to teach of His Love and compassion. I am blessed to be ordained to carry out the purpose God has for my life in a more public and official capacity." She expressed profound gratitude for her family's presence during this defining moment, saying, "To have my mother, brother, and sister ever-present during this journey towards ordination was paramount. I know that my father, Norwood Young Sr, was with me in spirit every step of the way."

She has over 20 years of experience in media as an on-air legal analyst and commentator, appearing on major platforms such as CNN, MSNBC, and KTLA. Her communication skills have been sought after by a former U.S. President, Members of Congress, and various political candidates.

As the founder of Women, Wisdom & Wine, Tanya has hosted a monthly women's Bible study since 2012. Her ecclesiastical contributions are vast.
