CAPE COD, Mass. - Sept. 23, 2025 - PRLog -- Sea Crow Press is proud to announce the October 21, 2025 release of The Art Collector's Wife, a powerful new historical novel by Susan Knecht. Already recognized with multiple awards—including the Firebird Book Award for Historical Fiction, a Literary Titan Five Star Award, and 4.5 stars from IndieReview—this book is poised to capture the hearts of readers worldwide.

Set in 1962 Venice, The Art Collector's Wife follows seventeen-year-old Isabel, whose restless teenage rebellion uncovers a fantastical family secret. Her grandmother Lila, a Holocaust survivor, has hidden away a collection of Renaissance art. What begins as suspicion soon turns into a journey that spans the canals of Venice to the catacombs of Paris, as Isabel searches for truth about her family, her parents who perished, and her own identity.

This richly layered story explores intergenerational trauma, memory, and resilience against the vivid backdrop of European art and culture. Combining historical depth with mystery and emotional resonance, Knecht's debut novel is both an intimate coming-of-age tale and a sweeping narrative of survival and self-discovery.

"A standout. Highly recommended." — The Midwest Book Review
