With over four decades of experience in environmental engineering, emissions testing, and advanced analytical technologies, Dr. Zemek brings a wealth of expertise that will significantly enhance our environmental testing services, including volatile organic compound (VOC) analysis and mobile laboratory operations.

Dr. Zemek holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Engineering from Rutgers University and has led major industrial and government projects focused on air quality, hazardous waste, PFAS mitigation, and regulatory compliance. His pioneering work in VOC sampling, mobile platform development, and Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectrometry has established industry standards and resulted in multiple patent applications in gas detection and carbon capture technologies.

At RJ Lee Group, Dr. Zemek will play a key role in advancing our environmental testing and consulting capabilities, supporting real-time VOC monitoring, and developing innovative testing methodologies for emerging contaminants. His recent work includes designing PTR-TOF-MS mobile platforms for community air monitoring and contributing to EPA studies on the destruction of PFAS and the assessment of volatile emissions risk.
