Katrina's Dream Launches "Bubble of Love" Program on Yom Kippur 2025: A Global Call for Atonement

ASTORIA, N.Y. - Sept. 21, 2025 - PRLog -- As Katrina's Dream celebrates 20 years of advocating for peace and equality, it announces the launch of the Bubble of Love Program on Yom Kippur (October 1–2, 2025). This global initiative invites all faiths to envelop the world in a "Bubble of Love" for atonement and unity, inspired by founder Helene de Boissiere-Swanson's 2014 vision from Rev. Kathryn Piccard during her ERA pilgrimage.

"This program is more than a moment of reflection; it's a transformative invitation to bridge divides through faith and empathy," said Helene de Boissiere-Swanson. "In a world marked by division, the Bubble of Love reminds us that atonement and kindness can turn enemies into friends, as echoed in sacred teachings across religions."

Aligned with Yom Kippur's theme of repentance, participants draw on teshuvah or principles like Christian love, Islamic rahma, or Buddhist metta. Insights include:

• Mahmood Al'Balushi of Qatar: "And not equal are the good deed and the evil deed. Repel [evil] by that [deed] which is better; and thereupon the one whom between you and him is enmity [will become] as though he was a devoted friend" (Surah Fussilat, 41:34).
• Bishop Mwamba Mwamba of Zambia: "May we all be peacemakers," citing Matthew 5:9 – "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God."
