Dr. Serena Patel Joins McLaughlin Dental Inc

LEOMINSTER, Mass. - Sept. 10, 2025 - PRLog -- Dr. Ian McLaughlin announced that Dr. Serena Patel has joined his dental practice with offices in Boston (West Roxbury) and Leominster, MA.  Dr. Patel has a B.S. degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emery University in Atlanta.  She earned her DDS degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry.  An outstanding student, Dr. Serena excelled in academics.  She is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.

Dr. Serena also has impressive clinical and volunteer dental experience.  Her community outreach experience includes working with a homeless women's shelter in Seattle to provide oral health care.  She also volunteered her expertise to provide dental care for communities in Jamaica. Her efforts were recognized when she won the American Association of Public Health Award.

"We are thrilled that Dr. Serena is joining our family dental practice," Dr. McLaughlin said. When asked about her approach to treating patients, Dr. Serena said that "it is important to make a connection with each patient.  My goal is to get to know the patient, learn about their dental needs, and offer them treatment options.  I want to earn the patient's trust at each visit and be available to them whenever they need dental care."
