From Tragedy to Transformation: KIBBLELESS™ Launches to Help Families Reclaim Their Dogs' Health

LYNCHBURG, Va. - Sept. 3, 2025 - PRLog -- A new movement is rising in the pet world, fueled by love, loss, and truth. Today, Nikki Kendal, CPCN, Certified Professional Canine Nutritionist, former teacher, and devoted Paw Parent, officially launched KIBBLELESS™, a grassroots initiative helping families transition their dogs away from kibble and toward whole, nourishing food.

The Kibbleless story was born from heartbreak. After opening a trusted bag of kibble, Nikki lost two of her doodles—Marley and Dreamer—just weeks apart. Only her youngest, Smitten, survived, thanks to an emergency switch to fresh, human-grade food.

"I never imagined the food I trusted could take their lives," said Kendal. "But when I realized Smitten could be saved by real food, I knew I had to help other Paw Parents avoid the same tragedy. That's why Kibbleless exists—so no one feels alone in this."

At launch, the KIBBLELESS™ movement offers families several ways to learn, connect, and take action:

• Don't Feed Me Pancakes — A heartwarming children's book starring Smitten the doodle, helping parents and kids understand what dogs really need to thrive. Available now in paperback and Kindle editions on Amazon.
• Educational programs — Online resources including Before the Bowl™, which teaches the critical preparation step most people miss before switching diets, and The Kibbleless Challenge™, a guided 30-day program that walks Paw Parents through the transition with support and community.
