Funding Georgetown's Future: Seeds of Strength Announces New Grant Cycle

GEORGETOWN, Texas - Aug. 29, 2025 - PRLog -- Seeds of Strength, a women's giving circle dedicated to empowering change through collective giving, has opened its 2025–2026 Grant Cycle. Nonprofit organizations serving Greater Georgetown are invited to apply for grants ranging from $10,000 to $25,000.

Since its founding in 2009, Seeds of Strength has awarded more than $2.3 million in grants to 44 local organizations, directly impacting over 81,000 lives. This year, the group will award $150,000 in funding. Each year, members pool resources to strengthen families, improve health and well-being, enhance education, and expand arts and culture in Georgetown.

Grant Application Details

The 2025–2026 grant process begins August 29, 2025. Applicants must:

• Be a 501(c)(3) public charity
• Provide services within Georgetown area zip codes: 78626, 78627, 78628, 78633, 78634, 78641, 78665, 78673, 78674
• Apply for one grant request within the $10,000–$25,000 range
• Follow all grant procedures and deadlines

Submission deadline: November 14, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. (Once uploaded, applications may not be modified.)

Seeds of Strength follows an alternate-year funding policy. Organizations awarded a grant in 2025 may not apply in 2026.

Applicants should demonstrate how their programs align with Seeds of Strength's priorities:

• Health and Well-Being – Programs that improve physical or mental health
• Family – Initiatives that support children and families
• Education and Financial Security – Programs that expand knowledge and promote financial stability
• Arts and Culture – Efforts that enrich Georgetown's cultural life, foster growth, and strengthen the local economy

A virtual Grants Information Session will be held on Tuesday, September 9, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. to guide nonprofits through the process. All applicants are strongly encouraged to attend.
