Since its founding in 2009, Seeds of Strength has awarded more than $2.3 million in grants to 44 local organizations, directly impacting over 81,000 lives. This year, the group will award $150,000 in funding. Each year, members pool resources to strengthen families, improve health and well-being, enhance education, and expand arts and culture in Georgetown. Grant Application Details The 2025–2026 grant process begins August 29, 2025. Applicants must:
Submission deadline: November 14, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. (Once uploaded, applications may not be modified.) Seeds of Strength follows an alternate-year funding policy. Organizations awarded a grant in 2025 may not apply in 2026. Areas of Funding Interest Applicants should demonstrate how their programs align with Seeds of Strength's priorities:
Informational Session A virtual Grants Information Session will be held on Tuesday, September 9, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. to guide nonprofits through the process. All applicants are strongly encouraged to attend.
