| ![]() Creative Community Impact Association Launches to Empower Canada's Creative LeadersBuilding on a Legacy of Creativity and Inclusion CCIA evolved from a heart-centered brick-and-mortar studio, Sparkles n' Sawdust, and grew into a vibrant social enterprise, Supernova Events, driven by the belief that creativity can transform lives and communities. Along the way, we developed events, projects, and collaborations that laid the foundation for Creative Community Impact Association and continue to inspire inclusive, thriving creative communities today. Programs and Services CCIA offers creative practice-based education for artists, cultural workers, and mission-driven creatives working at the intersection of art, justice, and community. Programs are free or offered on a sliding scale whenever possible. In addition, CCIA provides paid, mission-aligned services, including: - Creative team-building workshops - DEIA workshops - Public speaking engagements Every dollar invested in these services directly supports CCIA's mission by: Expanding access for underserved communities, developing free and low-cost programming and building a movement for lasting social change. Leadership and Governance CCIA is led by Founder and Executive Director Jacquelyn Miccolis and a volunteer Board of Directors, providing strategic guidance and oversight. Governance is guided by formal bylaws and key policies emphasizing transparency, accountability, diversity, and inclusion. Annual financial statements and program reports will be publicly available. Looking Ahead CCIA is planning a Creative Impact Forum in 2026, building on the success of our 2024 Supernova Conference, bringing together artists and changemakers nationwide.
