New Educational Video Sheds Light on Group A Streptococcus Exposure Risks

PHOENIX - Aug. 17, 2025 - PRLog -- The IAQ Video Network, in collaboration with Cochrane & Associates, has released a new educational video that explores the health risks associated with exposure to group A Streptococcus. These bacteria can cause a wide range of infections, from mild illnesses to life-threatening conditions.

"The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warns that group A strep bacteria are very contagious," said Paul Cochrane, President of Cochrane & Associates and the IAQ Video Network. "It is generally spread through respiratory droplets or direct contact, and potentially by touching contaminated surfaces or objects. The CDC also cautions that clusters and outbreaks of invasive infections are most commonly found in long-term care settings. This video was created to help raise awareness and promote preventive measures to reduce transmission."
