Addy, the main character, wants to understand where certain family traits originated. Are memories of an ancestor's most profound experiences stored in brain cells? Addy believes so and also that it is possible to release these by consuming edible substances native to each of the places the ancestors once inhabited. After eating such a concoction, an unraveling of the family's inherent traits follows in the "dream of all dreams." Addy finds himself reliving the significant events of his ancestors back to the time of Adam and Eve - 2,000 generations before. Author and producer James Allan Krause, PhD is a third generation writer. He has written six books and completed three degree programs in Europe, Canada and the USA. Pat Krause, his mother and motivator, hosted the CBC talk show "Insight" for five years and had four books to her credit. Varied and extensive describes the resources contributing to the authenticity of stories told. They range from centuries-old history books to those recently published. To name a few, the ancient authors cited include: Herodotus, Strabo and Plutarch. Through the digitalization of age old worthy works by archival sources such as Project Gutenberg, hard to find information was retrieved. Included are quotes from well known poets commenting on select characters depicted.
