WASHINGTON - Aug. 8, 2025 - PRLog -- The heat of the desert meets the fire of raw storytelling when the gripping new drama series Halfway House makes its festival debut this, as part of the Las Vegas Premiere Film Festival at Galaxy Theatres Boulevard Mall.

Led by powerhouse performances from Maino (Brooklyn rap legend), Sticky Fingaz (Onyx), Damion Hall (R&B group GUY), Patrick Faucette (The Have and the Have Nots, All American), Dennis L.A. White (Notorious, Law & Order: SVU), and Gary Anthony Sturgis (Pride, Diary of a Mad Black Woman), Halfway House delivers a tense, unflinching look inside the walls of a volatile Los Angeles halfway house where survival isn't guaranteed and redemption comes at a price.

The screening features the series' first four episodes, with cast members Damion Hall and Patrick Faucette attending in person alongside Foremost Entertainment production team: Producers Shacola Thompson and Carole Copeland, Executive Producer Adam Karp, and Writer/Director Marc Cayce.

A Gritty, High-Stakes Drama with a Murderous Twist

In Halfway House, 8 ex-convicts from drastically different worlds are forced to coexist under the rule of a manipulative therapist and corrupt probation officer. From gang leaders, political hopefuls to reformed hustlers, fallen music stars, everyone harbors secrets; when a mysterious death triggers a half-million-dollar insurance scandal, alliances shatter and the truth becomes deadlier than any weapon.

The ensemble cast brings to life a spectrum of unforgettable characters:

From Urban Legends to the Big Screen

Damion Hall connects music history to television history his group GUY, pioneered the New Jack Swing sound and sold millions of records. Rap icon Maino and hip-hop veteran Sticky Fingaz bring street authenticity, while seasoned actors Faucette, White, and Sturgis anchor the story with depth and gravitas.

The series is written and directed by Marc Cayce, known for his sharp urban storytelling and ability to balance suspense, cultural nuance, and emotional truth.
