Michigan Hypnosis Institute Director Reflects on Joining NGH During Its 75th Anniversary Year

REDFORD, Mich. - Aug. 7, 2025 - PRLog -- This year marks the 75th anniversary of the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH), the world's largest and oldest hypnosis organization, and for me, it's a particularly meaningful milestone. In 2025, I joined NGH during their anniversary celebrations, and it felt like the right time to align my practice with an organization that has done so much to shape and support the hypnosis profession.

As Director of Michigan Hypnosis Institute, I've spent more than a decade helping people throughout Michigan and beyond tap into their potential, overcome personal challenges, and move forward in their lives with confidence. But joining NGH this year felt like something deeper, a recognition of both where I've been and where I'm headed.

Like many practitioners, I came to hypnosis through a mix of curiosity, passion, and a drive to help myself and others. Over the years, I've trained with some of the most respected minds in the field, but no amount of technique compares to the real-life stories I've witnessed: people letting go of fears, gaining confidence, breaking habits, and reconnecting with themselves in ways they never thought possible.

The NGH's anniversary has given me a chance to reflect not only on the evolution of this profession, but also on how hypnosis continues to quietly and powerfully change lives, not in a dramatic or flashy way, but through small, meaningful moments of transformation.

In addition to working with clients, I've also been honored to train future hypnotherapists, helping others step into this work with the same commitment to ethics and integrity that first drew me to the field. Being part of NGH now adds another layer of professional connection and shared purpose that I truly value.

I'm looking forward to what the next chapter brings, for myself, my clients, and for the growing community of hypnotists who are committed to doing this work with heart, skill, and care.
