Wright Enterprises San Francisco ~Dallas Launches New TV Show at Historic AAACC

Longtime San Francisco-Oakland Bay Area nonprofit leader, publicist, writer and filmmaker Jackie Wright of San Francisco is bringing her community service focused e-Newsletter, Wright Enterprises Community Spotlight San Francisco ~ Dallas to life as a television show with a live audience.

The new television show will continue the themes of the W.E. e-Newsletter focusing on community from San Francisco ~ Dallas to Durban, South Africa and all points in between in the world. From the arts, social justice, emerging and established professionals to the simple "joie de vivre," the live audience will have a chance to give input for the evolving show.

The TV show at the historic African American Art and Culture Complex, 762 Fulton Street, San Francisco 94115, is produced by media experts Ken Johnson and Will Hammon in the Buriel Clay Memorial Theatre. The theatre is a place of creativity for many artists such as humanitarian, actor, producer Danny Glover, Idris Ackamoor, Rhodessa Jones, Sherri Young. Peter Callender, Margo Hall, Rodney Earl Jackson, Carl Lumbly, Seven Anthony Jones, Delroy Lindo and many others who performed over the years or had their work displayed.

The inaugural guest of the show that launched Wednesday, July 30, 2025 was the Bay Area's Keldamuzik, rapper, actress, filmmaker and fashion entrepreneur. "Having screened my first film "Love the Original Way" at AAACC during the San Francisco Black Film Festival, it was like a homecoming and I was happy to help out," said Keldamuzik, who is in the new TV Show "The Hodges" starring comedian Mario Hodge directed & produced by Buford Brown of A Brown Film, now streaming on Amazon.

"Many thanks to our inaugural guest, Keldamuzik for stepping in with less than 24-hour notice after our planned guest couldn't make it, said said Jackie Wright, host of Wright Enterprises Community Spotlight ~San Francisco-Dallas.

Wright added, "It is so wonderful to have the opportunity to work in such hallowed space bringing in new and established talent to touch the community in an intimate way via a live audience," It's an honor to be able to share subjects spanning the arts as we speak with NOLA's cultural ambassador Damon Batiste as he creates new projects in Durban, Cape Town and other African arts destinations. We are looking to speak with STEM innovators such as Dr. Kim Rhoads, who founded Umoja Health (https://www.umojahealth.org/about) to give medical accessibility to underserved Bay Area communities and, plus, remember leaders like medical trailblazer, veteran and philanthropist, the late Dr. Ernie Bates. "I can't thank Ken Johnson and Will Hammon enough along with the team of AAACE led by 'The Twins,' Melora and Melonie Green."

The TV show that will be aired on local cable channel 29 and posted on Youtube.com until additional platforms are acquired, is made possible by an innovative program on Wednesdays "Free Community Day" now through the end of September, managed by AAACC staffer, Ashley Smith. According to the producers, The W.E. e-News show is a community collaborative as the public is invited to come in for the 10:30 -12 noon Wednesday shoot to enjoy the topics and give their input on the show as well.

"This format at AAACC gives us many possibilities for expansion and growth such as workforce development as we can train elders and youth" as they shadow the roles of producing a show," said Ken Johnson, Producer. "There is opportunity for business as product placement as an example can happen. Additionally, before and after the show and during breaks, the live audience and crew can enjoy the unique beverages and food of Tallio's Coffee and Tea (https://tallioscoffee.com/) owned by Olton Rensch that is in the lobby of AAACC. He has coffee blends named after under served communities and we were able to share the dark roast "Bayview" on our inaugural show."

In addition, the public can enjoy the work of photographer Marcella Sanchez "Be Seen: The Genius and Gaze of Black Creatives" funded by the "Dream Keeper Initiative" that is currently exhibited in the Sargent Johnson Gallery.
