Though housing has long been a key area of service for SCLA, this summer the organization is shining a brighter spotlight on its free legal assistance for renters; making sure tenants are protected, informed, and supported when it matters most. Whether you're facing eviction, struggling to get necessary repairs addressed, or having issues with your security deposit, SCLA is here to help. Located inside the Seminole County Civil Courthouse in downtown Sanford, our Housing Office provides in-person support. But help is also just a phone call away—Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. We provide free legal aid to eligible low-income renters in Seminole County in areas such as:
