PRLog -- The Owensboro Convention Center in Owensboro, Kentucky, features "Birds, Botanicals & Butterflies,"
from August 6 to October 6, 2025, to showcase the delicate and abundant natural beauty of western Kentucky. Berry's work for this exhibition includes vibrant watercolors, detailed ink botanical renderings, and moss wall art.
Maureen C. Berry (b.1961) is a nature photographer, self-taught artist, and author who turned to watercolors after a life-threatening cancer diagnosis in 2019. Her motto is
"Create the life you want to live."2024 art exhibitions include "Wild African Adventures in Art" (Glema Mahr Center for the Arts, Madisonville, KY), featuring 64 pieces of photography and watercolors, as well as "VULNERABLE,"
a ten-piece series of realistic wildlife portraits in ink, and a wildlife conservation documentary film. "Girl on Fire" (ARTSWIN, Evansville, IN) is a six-piece self-portrait series: watercolor, mixed-media, and digital artwork.
