MAGA Candidate William O'Hanlon Announces 2028 Mayoral Run in Washington Township, NJPledges to Knock on Every Door, End Tax Hikes, and Beautify Black Horse Pike
By: Joseph Mischner O'Hanlon is kicking off his campaign three years early, pledging to knock on every single door in the township. "It may take me two years," O'Hanlon said, "but I'm going to make sure I speak to every resident." A Navy veteran, former CEO, and devout Catholic, O'Hanlon's campaign centers on two key promises:
"The Pike is the front porch of Washington Township," O'Hanlon said. "Right now, it's embarrassing. We're going to turn it into something people from all over the state come to see." When asked about his upcoming sentencing hearing this September—where he faces up to 12 years in prison—O'Hanlon did not shy away: "I've been felony free my entire life," he said. "The last time I ran for mayor, the DOJ got me thrown off the ballot and even removed me from the voter rolls. They don't even remove dead people from the rolls here." O'Hanlon says the system is rigged but insists truth and faith are on his side. He recently had a $10 million judgment overturned by the NJ Attorney General's Office and had a felony charge dismissed and expunged by Judge Whitcraft. "I believe in Jesus Christ, in the power of the Rosary, and in divine justice," he said. "I'm counting on God to get me through these false charges — so I can do what's right for this town."
